Associate artist Nathan Masterson joined artistic director Ben Spiller yesterday for an afternoon of workshops with a group of terrific students at the University of Warwick.
Nathan and Ben shared a number of analytical, vocal and physical skills needed to perform Shakespeare by focusing on moments from Timon of Athens, Macbeth, The Tempest and The Taming of the Shrew.
All participants were members of the university's new Shakespeare Society, based at the students' union. The workshops took place at the CAPITAL Centre, a partnership between the University of Warwick and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Responses to the workshops were very positive and we received some very encouraging feedback from students on our Facebook wall.
We look forward to returning to Warwick later in the year to contribute to the students' Shakespeare Week.
