This afternoon, we visited the London Road Community Hospital in Derby to check out the health-and-safety implications of The Great Shakespearean Workout 2010 with a team of physiotherapists. We had a great time taking the team through the aerobic-based exercises while moving to the beat of Shakespeare's verse. In the discussion that followed the Workout, we were reassured that the Workout is, indeed, safe for participants of all ages; but we were advised to begin each session by explaining that pain now means stop, while pain tomorrow is fine (it means that the exercises are making a difference!) The wonderful June Blood and her whole physio team were great fun and very supportive of the project. We send out many thanks to them all, and look forward to seeing them again at the Workout launch on 23 April. For more details on The Great Shakespearean Workout 2010, please visit our Upcoming page.
